Stray Dogs or Indie (Free-Roaming Dogs) live without a stable source of Caretaker, Food and Shelter. They are daily subjected to numerous challenges and lead a life of extreme hardship. They suffer from injuries, abuse, accidents, malnutrition, diseases and extremely harsh weather. Non-animal lovers see them as a nuisance and many are scared to go near them. People attack stray animals, take away their puppies and in extreme case retaliate by killing them if they feel threatened. India is having highest number of Stray Dogs or Indie (Free-Roaming Dogs) with highest dog bites in a year. The Government is at its wits end not knowing how to handle these situations and find an ambidextrous solution to this problem.
